It has been a big revolution in electronic media since last few years in Pakistan, everyone know that, hundreds of people became celebrities specially, Fashion Designers, Cooks & Chefs, Beauticians, Musicians, Health Coaches, Islamic Scholars etc.

I am going to write an article about (Is Media going into the right Path?) in near future. Insha Allah

But in this article, I have a small objection by the TV Channels. As representing Pakistan to the world by TV Channels, it is become a big responsibility on them to promote the almost every sector of Pakistan.

During the last few years, the Talk Shows are running by the massive political issues including terrorism in Pakistan. From promoting the above mentioned categories, they don’t have to underestimate the Information Technology Sector. My personal research is saying that TV Channels has been covered from Begging to Education Sector, from violence to Art Work, from Music to Business & Finance Sector, from Books to Mobile & Telecom, from Fitness to Hospitals, from Singers to Politicians, means all possible sectors has been almost covered by them to provide the maximum possible details to the viewers in all over the world.

The Information Technology, especially Software & Web technology is ignored by TV Channels. It is not so far, an IT Professional has been interviewed by any Talk Shows instead of interviewing by Chefs & Immigration Consultants. May be it is a reason of the lack of technical knowledge in Software & Web Technology.

By Ms. Shaista Wahidi, ARY Digital, an Indian Software house has denied a million dollar offer by Germany which could benefit to Pakistan. They are an example of patriotism. In this regard we have to prove ourselves to be patriot and this is the right time as we are facing so many challenges by international affairs. A person who can predict the future of viewers and or a person who can cook well are more important than a person who can be a milestone to developing Pakistan.

As viewer of TV Channels, we are already seeing celebrities in different dramas & segments presented by channels. So its my opinion, that furthermore, seeing them again in Talk Shows with a little chit chat is good for temporary causes, but it would be better that if we utilize that span with more productivity for the development of our country.

It is my request to the electronic media that, try to retrieve those hidden talent who done something for Pakistan and try to cover the IT sector as well. As we should know that fact that the only thing that can survive us in future is Information Technology.
